Kraft Nabisco Champion Brittany Lincicome scores first major wearing Trion:Z RANCHO MIRAGE, CA - April 6, 2009 - Lincicome came to the hole with a look of confidence yesterday at the 18th fairway during the fourth round of the Kraft Nabisco Championship to set up a 6-foot eagle putt to finish with a round of 69, securing her third LPGA victory and the first major of her professional career.  A cry of relief and excitement echoed through the crowd as Lincicome plunged into the icy waters at the Mission Hills Country Club. Taking the first-round lead Thursday with a 66, the 23-year-old Lincicome finished at 9-under par, defeating her opponents by one stroke. One of the longest drivers in women's professional golf, Lincicome smashed a 275-yard drive down the fairway, proving she was determined for a win.
Lincicome, whose previous best finish in a major was a tie for second at the 2007 Kraft Nabisco Championship, has endorsed Trion:Z since April of that year.
